Private culture day trip
Spend a private day with the sculpture, color and stories of both Baodingshan and Beishan. Their standard admissions are included. Choose a licensed English-speaking accompanying guide or a Mandarin-speaking driver, then add an authorized scenic-area English interpreter only if you want specialist explanation inside either protected site.
Choose either a licensed English-speaking accompanying guide or a Mandarin-speaking driver. The Mandarin driver provides transport and practical logistics, may use a translation app for simple communication and does not provide an English-guided tour. Elias or another trusted licensed guide is assigned only with the English-guide option, and the confirmed service is named before you pay a deposit.
Privately arranged
Your route
The listed sequence keeps both principal carving areas in the day. The museum remains optional, allowing the final hours to favor either broader context or an earlier drive back.
Chapter 01 Stops 1-2
Use the outward drive and lunch stop to prepare for an afternoon divided between the two carving areas.
Meet the assigned service at your central hotel and travel west by private vehicle to Dazu District.
Choose a nearby lunch with help on ordering when needed; food is paid for separately by the group.
Chapter 02 Stop 3
Start with smaller hillside grottoes where detailed figures and traces of color reward close viewing.
Walk the hillside grottoes at Beishan, where smaller spaces allow a closer look at carving and surviving color.

Chapter 03 Stop 4
Shift to the larger cliff ensemble, following connected sculptural scenes across Baodingshan.
Move through Baodingshan's larger cliff sequence, where sculpture and narrative scenes extend along the rock face.

Chapter 04 Stop 5
Use the optional museum to widen the historical frame and study selected objects at closer range.
Use the museum for broader historical context when the group's interest and remaining time make it worthwhile.

Chapter 05 Stop 6
Rejoin the vehicle after the agreed final stop for the private return to central Chongqing.
Begin the return at about 5:30 PM if the museum is skipped, or about 7:00 PM when it is included.
Direct request
Choose 1–6 guests and either a licensed English-speaking accompanying guide or Mandarin-speaking driver. English-guide service is ¥300 more per private group. Authorized scenic-area interpretation remains a separate ¥260 per group, per site.
More than 6 guests? Tell Elias your exact group size for a suitable vehicle and private quotation.
Groups of 1–4 use a five-seat car. For 5–6 guests, the listed total already includes the required ¥700 upgrade to a seven-seat Voyah Dream or Denza D9. Children count toward vehicle capacity; request a child seat in advance.
The English-guide option includes full-day accompaniment, communication and general cultural context. A Mandarin-speaking driver may use a translation app for simple communication but does not provide an English-guided tour. Specialist interpretation inside the carving sites is provided separately by an authorized scenic-area English interpreter.
The listed price covers standard admission to Baodingshan and Beishan. An authorized scenic-area English interpreter costs ¥260 for one private group at one site; requesting the service at both sites costs ¥520 in total. Elias can arrange the request in advance, subject to interpreter availability.
Interpreter availability, the optional museum visit and final timing are confirmed before your deposit.
